Just a report on the kids ice fishing outing the Lake St Clair Walleye Association had this past Sunday. We hosted over 275 kids plus adults! Everyone had a blast.
With that many people on the ice and the bikes running them out and back, plus all the power augers, the perch were few and far between. All the kids received a free ice fishing rod donated by several businesses. Mark Sak got Jiffy to donate ice scoops. Bass pro donated several dozen ice combo sets. A decoy carver donated 10 ice fishing decoys. Morley candy donated 14 pounds of candy. Others donated chili, hotdogs, soup, and more.
