Lapeer County Pheasants Forever Banquets
The national organization of Pheasants Forever requires each chapter hold an annual fundraising banquet, to raise funds for the various programs PF is involved in each year.They also require each chapter keep 100% of funds raised! This is what separates Pheasants Forever from most other wildlife organizations as many must hand over a percentage or in some cases all funds raised to their national organization. This is just one of the reasons that Pheasants Forever is rated nationally as the best wildlife conservation organizations. The national organization only asked that chapters forward membership fees and donate when able to national PF programs. Lapeer County PF believes in that and has donated to various national programming annually.
Our annual fundraising banquet is one of the best in Michigan. It is scheduled for the first Saturday in March, and our banquet committee basically is made op of all of our active members, as we meet and eat and while the banquet is the main theme, it is hardly the only topic.
